Privacy Policy

Overview
Postal ("we", "our", "the app") is a task management application built by Kirill Zubovsky. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data.
What We Collect
- Account information: When you sign up, we collect your email address (or Google account email if using Google Sign-In) to create and authenticate your account.
- Task data: Tasks, notes, and workspace content you create are stored to provide the service. On the desktop app, data is stored locally on your device. On the web app, data is stored in our database.
- Usage data: We track aggregate request counts to enforce usage limits. We do not log the content of your AI conversations.
- Payment information: If you subscribe to a paid plan, card payments are handled by Stripe (we do not store card details). Optional crypto payments may link a Solana wallet address and record on-chain transaction signatures / token balances used to verify access — not seed phrases or private keys.
How We Use Your Data
- To provide and maintain the Postal service
- To authenticate your identity
- To process payments via Stripe
- To send transactional emails (sign-in links, billing receipts)
Third-Party Services
- Supabase: Authentication and database hosting
- Stripe: Card payment processing
- Solana RPC providers: Optional wallet balance and transaction verification for crypto payments
- xAI (Grok): AI chat features. Your messages are sent to xAI's API to generate responses. See xAI's privacy policy.
- Google: Optional sign-in via Google OAuth. See Google's privacy policy.
