Overview
Postal ("we", "our", "the app") is a task management application built by Kirill Zubovsky. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data.
What We Collect
- Account information: When you sign up, we collect your email address (or Google account email if using Google Sign-In) to create and authenticate your account.
- Task data: Tasks, notes, and workspace content you create are stored to provide the service. On the desktop app, data is stored locally on your device. On the web app, data is stored in our database.
- Usage data: We track aggregate request counts to enforce usage limits. We do not log the content of your AI conversations.
- Payment information: If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details.
How We Use Your Data
- To provide and maintain the Postal service
- To authenticate your identity
- To process payments via Stripe
- To send transactional emails (sign-in links, billing receipts)
Third-Party Services
- Supabase: Authentication and database hosting
- Stripe: Payment processing
- xAI (Grok): AI chat features. Your messages are sent to xAI's API to generate responses. See xAI's privacy policy.
- Google: Optional sign-in via Google OAuth. See Google's privacy policy.
Data Retention
Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data by contacting us at postal.wtf/hello.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing postal.wtf/hello.
Cookies
We use local storage (not cookies) to maintain your authentication session. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
